Hello Parents and Students,
This week we will continue reading the book, I Promised I Would Tell, by Sonia Weitz. Unfortunately, her sister died over vacation, so we will look at an article about her. Also, we will begin talking about the Nazi Party and how they gained power. Propaganda is a powerful tool. The students will identify how they are influenced media, “fads” and other marketing tools. In History we will see a movie about the Jewish People in America. Since they learned about Jews in America last year, this will be a wonderful followup.
The students should read chapter 6 in the Holocaust book.
