Mishloach Manot Boxes for Everyone!

A Mishloach Manot gift box for Purim has been ordered for You — yes, I mean YOU! We are pleased to say that each and every congregant was selected to receive a Purim gift box!

Gift boxes will be waiting for pick up either on Purim night, Sat., Feb. 27, or on Purim, Sun., Feb. 28, between 10 AM and 2 PM. Any left after Wed., Mar. 3, at 2 PM will be dismantled due to the perishable nature of the treats. If you are shut in and unable to pick up your box, please email or call the Temple office and we will arrange for it to be delivered.

Someone was thoughtful enough to send you a Purim greeting; please come and pick up your Purim box!

Special thanks go to the Mishloach Manot team:

to the hamentaschen bakers: Elizabeth Schlein and her Community Learning Day Team, and Ilene MacDonald, and all her bakers;
to Ilene for ordering and organizing another 600 hamentaschen so no one would go hungry on Purim;
to Leslie Colten for buying all the non-perishable goodies for the boxes and to her children for helping sort out the raisins;
to the Atid class and Olivia Huth for folding the boxes and packing them with non-perishables, and to Miriam Blue who led them;
to Kim Dietel, who suggested exactly what to put in the boxes and offered support throughout the process;
to Anita Freed, who offered up a Friday to help pack the boxes with hamentaschen and ready them for pick up.

Thank you to the 21 people who made a special effort to order for their TBA family (with a total of over 200 Purim greetings!), and to the five families who donated so that everyone would get a box.

It was a congregational effort that benefited the entire congregation. Thank you all!

    This was an awesome surprise for the congregation. Lisa, you did a fantastic job organzing this gift and making it happen for all temple members. A sincere THANK YOU!!!

  2. Dear Lisa and all the Volunteers and Families that made this project possible,
    Thank you all for putting together such a wonderful program for TBA! We LOVED our basket and every detail that went into it (the label, the box, the letter, the goodies). The gifts were beautifully done and so professional! And the hamentaschen were DELICIOUS!!!!
    We know all the families will LOVE their gifts and will participate next year in what looks to be a great tradition as well as a successful annual fundraiser for TBA.
    Many Many Thanks,
    Debbie, Marty, Lili and Maxine Greenstein

  3. To Lisa and all your committee,

    Great job on the Shalach Manot baskets!!! Walking into the temple was such a beautiful experience with the colorful baskets on the tables as a centerpiece. It really felt like Purim. It looked like a labor of love.
