Students today focused on Chapter 5 in their Let’s Talk books.  Students updated their personal dictionaries with the new vocabulary words introduced in this chapter, and began completing the chapter 5 worksheets (p. 30-31).  They also practiced reading and translating their chapter 5 vocabulary words by playing the game Around the World.    Students who may have missed a class were encouraged to access these weekly postings in order to find out what may have been covered in class in their absence, so that they do not fall behind.
