On behave of the third grade class, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the TBA congregation who donated cosmetic items for the soldiers in Iraq. We collected enough items to ship two big boxes to two local soldiers and their units. We even received a letter back from one of the soldiers thanking us for the care package.

I would also like to thank Lynn Rubenstein for taking time out of her busy schedule to teach and practice with us a few Israeli Dances. We performed these dances and sang songs to the residents at the Chelsea Jewish Home. The third graders and the residents enjoyed themselves.

The students did several mitzvot and they should be proud of themselves for all their hard work this year. They truly learned about “What it Means to be a Mensch!”
