The monthly Mitzvah Knitting Group will meet Sunday, February 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. Newcomers are welcome! Sisterhood is also holding Bagels and Books at this time, so bring at least one, or up to six, books to trade. Cookbooks, novels, nonfiction. And bring your appetites for a little nosh. We’ll have yarn, needles and experienced knitters who can show you how to start a blanket or more manageable 7-inch-by-7-inch squares that will be incorporated into patchwork blankets. Please share this message with anyone you think might be interested in joining our group. Blankets have already been distributed to two nursing homes in Beverly.
