• Join Rabbi Adler and the Social Action Committee as they acknowledge the Helman Family for their generous decision to allocate the money from the Stephen B. Helman Fund to support Monday Night Suppers at the First Baptist Church this Friday, February 3 at 7PM followed by a special oneg.
• Shabbat Morning services begin at 9:00 AM. This week is called Shabbat Shira and we read the story of the crossing of the sea of reeds with special trope. The torah will be read by Eli Davidyan and Rabbi Adler with the haftarah chanted by Saul Axelrod.
• Sunday morning, February 5 is our first Community Learning Day of 2012. A conitnental breakfast will be served beginning at 8:30 AM followed by exciting storytelling and torah text study with Magid David Arfa, Pilates with JJ Hano, Studio 13 owner , a lesson on Eco Judaism with Rabbi Adler and an inspirational concert led by singer, songwriter and Jewish educator Jay Rapoport.
