TBA’s 8th annual Lecture Series Brunch features Charlotte Gordon, author of “The Woman Who Named God: Abraham’s Dilemma and the Birth of Three Faiths.”

Join us on Sunday, March 25, from 11 am to 1 pm, for Gordon’s lecture, discussion, a book signing and brunch. Tickets are $25/person ($18/person over age 65). Reservations by March 16 by calling the synagogue office at 978-927-3211, ext. 14.

In her latest book, Gordon explores the love triangle between Abraham, Sarah and Hagar that underpins the three great monotheistic faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Gordon graduated from Harvard College and received a Ph.D. from Boston University. A post-doctoral fellow at Boston University, she taught Religion and Literature in the Department of Theology and from 1999 to 2002 was a lecturer in Elie Wiesel’s seminars, “The Literature of Memory.” She currently teaches at Endicott College in Beverly and conducts writing workshops for adults from her home in Gloucester.
