Please note that Rabbi Adler will be away this weekend.  Friday night services will be led by Linda Goodspeed and Marcy Yellin.  Saturday morning Seth Landau will be our guest service leader. There will not be minyan on Sunday. Shabbat Shalom!

My name is Zach and I have decided to help TBA with it’s annual cereal drive in honor of the counting of the omer for my mitzvah project. Last year TBA collected 171 boxes of cereal and donated it to Beverly Boostraps. We have currently collected 40 boxes and we only have 17 days left before the end of the counting of the omer on the holiday of Shavuot. I will be contacting all of my guests to request that they bring to TBA a box of cereal to support the drive in honor of my bar mitzvah. Beverly Boostraps services 2100 households and desperately needs our continued support. Please consider joining me in this effort by doing your part and donating cereal to this very worthy cause.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of former long time member Eva Gurman beloved wife of Saul Gurman. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 7th at 11:00am at Sons of Abraham Cemetery, Cole St, Beverly. Memorial observance following the interment until 7:30pm at her late residence. The congregations offers its condolences to  Saul, Steven, Robert, Martha, Debra, Jessica and Michael. May They be counted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Join us on Sunday, May 6, for our last Community Learning Day of the Jewish year featuring Jewish educator and Rabbinic student Getzel Davis. We will be studying the concept of spiritual activism, how Judaism moves us to do good in the world, with a scavenger hunt and discussions about making a difference. We will end with a dedication of our new Community Garden, where we will plant vegetables to be used for Monday Night Suppers and to be donated to local food pantries. Please dress appropriately for outdoor weather. Remember to to do your part in counting the Omer by bringing a box of cereal to donate to our local food pantries.
