Reminder: ATID session Sunday, May 2nd
Hi, everyone. Just a friendly reminder that we will be meeting this coming Sunday, May 2nd. Our session will begin at 10 AM. Feel free to come earlier to participate in the full Community Learning Day. Our part will include Israeli cooking and taking part in the synagogue-wide “Israel Fair” during the last 45 minutes (11:15-12). Our next session will be Sunday, May 16th, 10:30-12. ATID Program Spring Calendar Update
ATID Program Spring 2010 Calendar: (All Sessions meet on Sundays from 10:30-12 unless otherwise noted) February 28th: Purim Carnival 12-2 (arrive at 11:30 to help set up) March 7th (in conjunction with Community Learning Day) March 21st (in conjunction with Community Learning Day/Sheldon Low concert) March 28th April 11th May 2nd (in conjunction with Community Learning Day) May 16h
Next ATID Program: Sunday, Feb. 20th: 10:30-12
The next ATID session will be from 10:30-12 on Sunday, February 20th. All 8th-10th graders are welcome to our new program, where will focus on leadership, social justice and youth philanthropy. Purim Carnival Help Wanted…
We are looking for help on the February 28, 2010 for the Purim Carnival from 11:30-2:30pm. (Carnival is from 12:00-2:00.) We need people to work at the prize table, sell tickets at the door and help make and serve food. North Shore Teen Initiative Laser Quest Lock-In
Saturday, January 23, 2010 The North Shore Teen Initiative is proud to sponsor a SMARTY/YAiSH and Peabody USY Laser Quest Lock-In event. This is an awesome event which promises to be one of the highlights of YOUR life! The cost is $35, which includes food, transportation and all entertainment. 9:30 pm A bus will leave Temple Emanu-El to meet at Temple Ner Tamid in Peabody for the intro to the Lock-In, trivia, Nintendo Wii, air hockey and prizes galore! 12 am > 6 am We have all night to play Laser Quest and have a blast. (Like the pun?) 6 am > 7:45 am Stumble to the bus for post-Quest breakfast at iHop. 8 > 8:15 am Arrive back at Emanu-El You will need to RSVP to this event and pay in advance by January 21st. Open to all Jewish teens on the North Shore, grades 9-12. $35 per person. Next ATID Session: Sunday, Jan. 10th
Please join us for our next ATID session on Sunday, January 10th. We will be meeting from 1-3 PM at TBA. It is critical that EVERYONE who is going to Washington attend. After our trip Jan. 17-18th, our next session will be on February 7th. We will meet from 10:30-12, which will be our new meeting time starting in February.
