Religious School Tu B’Shevat Program This Sunday
TBA Religious School parents are invited to join their children for a Tu B’Shevat program this Sunday, January 29, from 11 a.m. to noon. Learn about Tu B’Shevat and find personal meaning in the holiday. Rabbi Adler will lead the program. This program is for all grades. Kindergarten students will join older classes at 10:30 a.m. to bridge the gap between their regular dismissal time and the start of the program.

Religious School News
Classes resume this Thursday, January 5. School will not be in session on Sunday, January 15, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Our next Parent Coffee and PTA Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 8, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Please join us to socialize with other parents, hear what’s happening in the school, and to provide feedback to the temple. If you find attending Shabbat services with your child to be a challenge (and even if you don’t!), be sure to check out the Family Shabbat Service scheduled for Friday, January 20. The evening will begin with snacks at 5:30 p.m., and the service will feature musical accompaniment by Marcy Yellin, who regularly works with our schoolchildren. A special thank-you goes to Marcy for working with our students for the Consecration, Chagigat Siddur, and Chanukah programs. We also thank our volunteers who helped with these events, including Sue Richard, Kim Dietel, Lisa Fabry, Lisa Kosan, Lauren Creamer, Gina Rudin, Jim Younger, Andi Freedman, Janis Soferr, Louise Oram, Barbara Rose, and Phil Freed. Religious education opportunities also continue this month for our teens. Parents are reminded of these program dates: Confirmation class, for grades 10-12, begins on Sunday, … Continue reading
