The Temple B’nai Abraham Book Club meets about every other month and is open to members and non-members. We discuss the books and enjoy a cup of tea with a bite to eat. Often, chocolate is involved. If you are new to the community, this is a good way to meet people and get to know them a bit better. Among the books we have discussed are: The Ladies Auxiliary Rashi’s Daughters, Book 1 Eat, Pray, Love Sarah’s Key Peony in Love The Zookeepers Wife The Ghost of Hannah Mendes The Covenant The Kite Runner The History of Love On January 20, we will discuss The Help by Kathryn Stockett at Sue Carnevale’s home. Her address and directions are available from the temple office. We are scheduled to discuss The Book Thief by Markus Zusak on March 3 and People of the Book, by Geraldine Brooks on May 5. This could change, so please contact Linda at lgoodspeed@verizon.net for confirmation.
